I have never tried to use a grow light, and was excited to try this LEDit® LED Grow Light out. I thought this would be great for my aquascaping and maybe even for starting some seeds for spring planting. I am really impressed that for the amount of light it gives it does not get really bright. I like that the light is the same size as a regular light bulb so you don't have to look for a special fixture for this bulb. I used a clamp light from a hardware store that my daughter was previously using for some turtles. A little bit of growth, but nothing extreme after using this light with my water plants. This light has 12 LED bulbs, 9 are red and 3 are blue. This light has a 12 month warranty which is great. I received this item in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.
