EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Thermometer

This EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Thermometer is very easy to use. LCD screen is a nice size, numerals are easy to read. The screen also has a backlight which is nice because my oven light is not very strong. Temperature readings in both Celsius and Fahrenheit which is easy to change. The probe is nice and sharp so it is easy to insert into your meat. It automatically shuts off after 5 minutes so you don't have to worry about the battery running down. There is slip on cover for the probe, which is nice so you don't have to worry about the sharp point in your gadget drawer. This is perfect for when I'm cooking chicken. I always worry about undercooking chicken and end up overcooking it. This works very nicely. I received this item in exchange for my honest review. 

Hori Hori Garden Knife

I had the pleasure of trying out this Hori Hori Gardening Knife. I honestly thought the name Hori Hori was something made up until I googled it.  I was excited to try it out.  I love to garden but because I live in an apartment complex on the second floor my gardening is limited.  I have been missing my gardening so this year I decided to buy a few more plants than I usually do to try and make our patio are more comfortable.  I didn't have any tools so i was basically using small cups and my hand to dig in the soil.  I thought I would get a small shovel when I got a chance.  I was offered this Hori Hori Garden Knife to review and I thought this would work perfect for me.  It is a shovel, saw and knife all built in one with a nice leather case that can be attached to a belt. The handle is wood. This is perfect for planting small plants, trimming small branches. The shovel has a ruler on it so you can measure depths that you are placing bulbs or plants in. The knife if pretty sharp, and it also came with a sharpening stone so you can keep it nice and sharp.  Also included was a little razor cutter that would be good for opening envelopes or cutting other paper.  I think this would make a great gift for any gardener.  It could also be used by hunters and fishermen. Novapolt USB 3.0 External DVD and CD Drive

My HP Pavilion laptop and my daughter Mac Book are both slimmer version laptops that did not come with external DVD/CD drives. We have been sharing an external dvd which has been kind of a pain. I decided to was time to get another so we wouldn't have to share. This Novapolt USB 3.0 External DVD and CD Drive was easy to use, just plug it into your usb port and you're good to go. There's a button on front to open up the front, one push and it opened easily. No software needed to be added, very easy to use. Played DVDs, and I was able to upload my cd to my Itunes. The usb cord is on the bottom, it's a little short but not to bad. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review. 

10 Pcs makeup brushes

I love this 10 piece set of brushes. This set includes 10 brushes with a circular hard case and a small compact. This also comes with a insert telling you which each brush is for. The brushes are made out of high quality synthetic hair. I really like how soft these brushes are, and how well they blend. They do have a slight smell to them, I believe from the glue but it went away after washing them. Brushes should always be washed with a mild soap before using them. No shedding of the brush hairs which I am happy with. I like that the hard case, it takes up less room because it can stand up. I received this item in exchange for my honest review. I was really impressed by this Ocean View Snorkel Set. The mask fits very comfortably around the face. I like the the full face design, very different from the regular masks I've worn in the past. I chose a small mask and it fit me (a woman) comfortably and also fit my preteen kid. The breathing tube sticks out from the top and you can expel any extra water from a vent near the chin. I really like with the full face mask I don't have that extra mouth piece like a regular snorkel. On top of the mask is a mount for a GoPro which is really cool if you are able to do some ocean snorkeling. The flippers are nice as well, and easily adjusted. There was plastic inserts in them to hold their shape that do need removed before wearing. The set came with a nice drawstring mesh bag to keep everything together. Cocktail Shaker Set

This cocktail set by Shikshook is stainless steel and includes a jigger, 2 spouts and a velvet carrying case.  It looks very nice and works great too.  I had no problems with the shaker leaking and the spouts fit perfect in my vodka bottle.  The jigger has one size that is 1/2 ounce and the other side is 1 ounce. I love that it came with a velvet carrying bag so I can keep all of the items together. If you are looking at a shaker for your bar this is a really nice set. Also is boxed nicely, it would make a nice gift. 

SMART & EASY® Magnetic Cell Phone Holder

This SMART & EASY® Magnetic Cell Phone Holder works great for keeping you phone close in your car. I love that I don’t have to worry about clamps and my phone slipping. This cell phone holder will mount to any flat surface. You can use this in your home as well as car. It is very easy to install. Clean your and dry the back of your phone, and attach one of the included metal plates in the middle. It’s a really thin plate so you don’t have to worry about it making your phone bulky. The plate is also just metal, no magnetic product. Clean and dry the surface you want to attach the mount. Remove the backing and attach. Then you just attach your phone to the mount. It keeps your phone very secure. I have not had any problems with it falling even after going over bumps. I’m very happy with this product. This is great for when I am using map functions and Music functions on my phone. Recommend this for anyone looking for a stable, easy to use cell phone holder. Dual Purpose Bamboo Kitchen Board

I was in need of a new cutting board. I have a plastic one and have heard that they can dull your knives and it was better to use a wood cutting board. This is a Dual Purpose Bamboo Kitchen Board. One size is for cutting and the other is for serving. The cutting side is bamboo, and has a “moat” around the edge to catch any liquid you may have when cutting. Quality is nice, no spintering and is wood is even. The other side for serving the wood is a dark brown wood.

This side I wasn’t as impressed with. The wood is uneven and color is uneven as well. It doesn’t really look nice enough to serve with.

ActionFly Basketball Game

The ActionFly Basketball Game is a fun game for all different age group. This game packaged in red cardboard box. The packaging is not anything fancy, reminds me of the novelty gift you find around Christmas time. The game is made mostly of metal with the exception of the headboard that is a solid thick plastic, and the ball with attached string. The hoop folds down and is attached to the pole by a hinge. The court is painted to look like a basketball court. The Ball is tied to a string so you don’t have to worry about using the ball. The shooter is a thin piece of metal attached to the end, you put the ball there and push down and the force shoots the ball. The base has 4 rubber feet which I really like because it won’t scratch up your furniture. Great for your basketball lovers to put on their office desk or just something fun for the kids. Gillette Venus Swirl

I've been using this razor for about a month now and I really like it. I love the way it looks I really like the clear teal color with a nice decorative handle. The handle has is plastic with silicone so you can grip it easily. So the little silver ball that is meant to increase the razors ability to bend, doesn't really do anything. It works the same as every other Venus razor I've tried. I don't really have any complaints because I still got a nice close shave. The blades have arip on them that allows you to shave without any shaving gel. This works pretty well but prefer using shave gel because I feel I get a closer shave. I like that all the Venus blades are interchangeable with the handles. If you decide these blades aren't for you, you can still use the handle with which ever ones you like.
