Marley Is Getting Spoiled with Zesty Paws Pure Salmon Oil

I have a 2 year old Cavadoodle named Marley and I love being able to try out new pet items. This week I got Zesty Paws Pure Salmon Oil at a reduced price to review. Marley is pretty picky about eating her dry dog food, probably because she gets people food more than she should.  I have heard about the benefits of Salmon oil for dogs and cats and thought that the flavor of the salmon oil might get my dog to eat her dry dog food better.  The bottle is much larger than I thought it was going to be, it stated 32 ounces but I still expected it not to be quite so big. It bottled with a regular lid and then came with a pump lid.  The first thing I did when I opened the bottle was smelled it.  My dog's a lapdog and has no boundaries....she's always up in my face and I didn't want to have to smell any strong fishy odors.  There is a light salmon scent to it but it is not strong at all.  I put a couple pumps into my Marley's dry food and the first thing she did was to try to lick it off.  She must of got lazy about licking because she finally ate it all up.  My dog occasionally has stomach issues, and salmon oil is suppose to help irritable bowel syndrome so I'm hoping this will help.  It also is suppose to help promote good skin and a shiny coat.  She's only had it a few days, but I'm hoping to see some good results. This product sells on Amazon for $19.95 which is a great value for the size of this bottle.

Some of the benefits of salmon oil are:

  • Improves the coat and skin, making the coat soft and shiny.
  • Fights heart disease.
  • Regulates the immune system.
  • It's preventative against cancer.
  • Helps with irritable bowel syndrome
  • Lowers blood pressure

You can find it here on Amazon!
