I am really happy with these measuring spoons. These measure about 4 inches long, they are light weight. I really like the rectangular shape of them because they are so much easier to put them in small spice jars. Some of the round measuring spoons I have used, I have to pour the spice into the spoon. With these spoons, I can put them in the jar and scoop out the spice without making a mess. They are kept together with a ring that snaps nicely. They are made of stainless steel and are dishwasher safe. I washed them in my bottom silverware basket in my dishwasher and they came out nicely, no problems. This is a very modern looking scale, which I really like. It is very sleek and stylish looking. It is something that I can leave on my kitchen counter and it looks nice. It is also a nice size, it does not take up much room on my counter. I have been trying to lose some weight and am calorie counting and this has been really helpful in measuring the portions I am eating.
This can be used to measure dry item and liquids. It can measure in grams or ounces, and it is easily switched. Came with battery, I pulled the plastic tab and I was able to turn on the item.
